The direct drive way to the restaurant is forbidden. The location of the restaurant has a driving ban. Please park your vehicle on one of the two designated parking places:

  1. Arrival with the cable car:

    You will find the cable car station at Zelgstrasse, 80, 8134, Adliswil (Telefon +41 (0)44 710 73 30)
    Direct at the valley station you will find free parking. The cable car travels every 15 minutes. Tickets can be obtained at the ticket counter at this valley station. GA, half fare card and after 9am passes are valid.

    From the car park Buchenegg we are reachable in a 20 minutes walk. The path is wide and suitable for push chairs..

The arrival with the public transport is straight forward. Travellers from Zürich and the Sihltal take the S4 Sihltalbahn train to Adliswil. After a short walk you reach the valley station of the cable car, the path is well signposted.

The cable car travels every 15 minutes. Half fare card, GA and after 9am passes are valid. Return journey costs CHF 8.80. Further information can be found on the website of the luftseilbahn…

    By foot we are reachable in c.40 minutes. 300 meters of height. Not suitable for push chairs or bikes..

  3. Probably the most commonly used hiking trail in Switzerland!

    For those that are keen to walk we recommend the journey with the S10 train from Zürich HB (main station) up to the Uetliberg. From there you will reach the Felsenegg along the wonderful ridge walk in c. 90 minutes. The path is wide and suitable for push chairs. To return to the valley you can go by cable car to Adliswil.
